Workshop
This research workshop will be the fifteenth of the series of quarterly workshops organized by the Public-Private Sector Research Center. The aim of these workshops is to bring together researchers who are in the Barcelona area and also researchers outside Barcelona. For this edition we have selected papers dealing with different aspects of energy and climate economics. Topics to be discussed include: climate change policy; market power in electricity markets; the impact of wind generation on electricity spot markets; forward contracting in gas markets; and the evolution of energy policies in the European and Spanish energy markets. The 5th Report of the Public-Private Sector Research Center (The Spanish Gas and Electricity Sector: Markets, Regulation and Environmental Policies) will be presented as part of this workshop.
