Research Conference

Background

EEC 2010 will build on the EFER supported Cambridge “Teach-the-Teachers” programme in 2001, the Harvard Business School European Entrepreneurship Colloquium on Participant-Centered Learning (HBS EECPCL) which ran from 2005-2008 and the EEC Maastricht Programme in 2009.

The European Forum for Entrepreneurship Research (EFER) was founded in 1987 by Dr. Bert Twaalfhoven with support from many individuals and corporations. It fosters and promotes research and teaching in the field of entrepreneurship at institutions of higher education across Western and Eastern Europe.  EFER works with an extensive network of schools and professors from across Europe and around the world. EFER’s programmes on entrepreneurship teaching have been developed to address the gaps and needs identified in Europe through the research work conducted by EFER over the years. After these programmes many of the alumni professors have revamped their teaching approaches and are working on further building the entrepreneurship programmes within their institutions.  For further information about EFER and its other activities, please visit www.efer.eu.
