Every year, Ernst & Young celebrates the Entrepreneur of the Year program, the world’s most prestigious business award for entrepreneurs. Created in 1986 in the United States, this public recognition is now being granted in 50 countries. The unique award makes a difference in the way that it encourages entrepreneurial activity among those with potential, and recognizes the contribution of individuals who inspire others with their vision, leadership and achievement.

In Spain, the dynamic activity of businessmen and entrepreneurs in their companies, is one of the primary sources of job creation and wealth in our economy. Hence, Ernst & Young began to pay this tribute publicly since 1996, with the goal of recognizing the entrepreneurs, their efforts, sacrifices and, ultimately, the risks they have undertaken and face every day to lead their companies with excellence.

On Thursday, November 19  during a ceremony to be held at IESE, the finalists from the Catalonian area for the Entrepreneur of the Year Award, will be announced.
