INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE
The Gate2Growth Academic Network in Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Finance is sponsoring three Best Paper Awards for the 35th EISB Conference.
Terms of the Best Paper Awards:

1. There will be three awards, one each for 3,000 euros, 2,000 euros, and 1,000 euros.

2. All the abstracts submitted (maximum 1,000 words) to the conference before the deadline of April 15, 2005 will be eligible for short-listing for the best paper award.

3. Twelve abstracts will be short-listed by the Review Committee from all the abstracts submitted, based on the quality of submission and fit with conference theme.

4. The authors of these twelve short-listed papers will be informed that they have the possibility of winning the award, and will be asked to submit the full papers before the deadline of July 15, 2005.

5. The papers should all indicate that they were short-listed for the best paper awards.

6. These twelve papers will be subject to a review process. The reviewers will be chosen based on their research fit with the content of the short-listed papers.

7. The decision on the final awards will be made by the EISB Scientific Advisory Committee, based on the recommendations of the reviewers.

8. The 12 short-listed papers will be presented in the parallel tracks to which they correspond. In addition, the three papers selected for the final awards will be presented in a special workshop, spanning one conference session of 90 minutes.

9. Only authors who attend the conference are eligible for the best paper awards.

10. While the awards are open to all attendees, one of the criteria of the Gate2Growth Program is that the findings of the papers should have clear implications and applicability in the European context, and this criterion will be given weightage by reviewers and the Scientific Advisory Committee.
