Call for papers

The European Association for Decision Making invites submissions for its 2013 Biennial SPUDM conference to be held at IESE Business School, Barcelona, Spain
Submissions of paper abstracts, poster abstracts, and proposals for workshops are invited on any topic in basic and applied judgment and decision making research.

Submissions of individual papers/posters

Submissions for individual empirical papers and/or posters should include:

* Title maximally 140 characters including spaces.
* Names of presenting author and co-authors and their affiliations, Aim, Method, Results, and Conclusions.
* A short abstract of maximum 1800  characters including spaces (This will be posted in the program on the web page and printed in the program book).
* A long abstract of maximum 4500 characters including spaces, specifying the aim, method, results and conclusions of the research.

 You should indicate your preferred mode of presentation (oral or poster) and for those requesting an oral presentation whether you would be willing to present the paper as a poster if the sessions are oversubscribed.
Oral presentations will be limited to 20 minutes, including 5 minutes for discussion.

Submissions of symposia/workshops proposals

The scientific committee also welcomes submission for traditional peer-reviewed symposia as well as for practical, methodological and/or training workshops relevant to judgment and decision-making research.
Symposia and/or workshop submissions should include:

• a short symposium title of maximum 140 characters  including spaces.
• the names of the convenor, affiliation and email address.
• the name of the discussant, affiliation and email address.
• a short abstract summarising the background, aims and objectives of the symposium of maximum 1800 characters.
• up to five contributing papers specifying: 

* Title maximally 140 characters including spaces. 
* Names of presenting author and co-authors and their affiliations, Aim, Method, Results, and Conclusions. 
* A short abstract of maximum 1800  characters including spaces (This will be posted in the program on the web page and printed in the program book). 
* A long abstract of maximum 4500 characters including spaces, specifying the aim, method, results and conclusions of the research.

Only short presentations of maximum 15 minutes should be submitted for workshops to allow a full discussion.
All submissions must be made electronically.

Participants may submit more than one paper, but should indicate which they would prefer to present if limited to just one.
