The Europe for Patients consortium has the pleasure to announce the "e4p Final Conference" which will take place in Ghent from October 25th to 27th. The conference will present Benefits and Challenges of Enhanced Patient Mobility in Europe based on the reasearch carried out since the project was launched in January 2004.

FORUM EUROMED in Barcelona.
Marking the tenth anniversary of the Barcelona Declaration the Government of Catalonia and specifically the Ministry of Health decided to hold an International Forum of the Euro-Mediterranean region in order to make progress in political collaboration regarding health. The aim of the forum was to focus on obtaining better knowledge about the real situation in the Mediterranean area in terms of health by means of discussion and putting forward proposals, interchange of knowledge, experience and best practices will be promoted, which will be based on three points of discussion: the health models themselves, e-health and free circulation of patients and professionals; in all these cases with the aim of improving citizens’ health.
The main output of the Forum was the "Forum EuroMed Health 2005 Declaration" for a new perspective for Health in the Euro-Mediterranean. Download
The e4p team participated actively and different articles were published on patient mobility in teh Spanish press. Download
