Many countries in Europe have experienced stagnant growth in recent years and as a result have come to realize that some of the basic achievements gained during the decades following World War II, such as social security and health insurance, will have to be modified in the near future. Various countries in Latin America that have been in the emerging category for a long time also have experienced significant economic problems. At the same time, regions like China and India are experiencing unprecedented growth periods.
This major conference will explore how the decision sciences can provide management with better tools and skills to encourage economic growth and help build a better world.
