Organizers

The organizers of the conference on “Complementarities and Information”  are the Public-Private Sector Research Center (SP-SP Research Center) and CESifo.

Logo IESE-SPSPThe SP-SP Research Center is part of  IESE Business School, the graduate business school of the University of Navarra. The Public-Private Sector Research Center was created in October of 2001. Its mission is to foster cooperation between the private sector and public administrations, as well as the exchange of ideas and initiatives, through dialogue, research and education.

The Center is sponsored by the following organizations: Accenture, Ajuntament de Barcelona, BBVA, Cambra de Comerç de Barcelona, Diputació de Barcelona, Garrigues, Generalitat de Catalunya, Sanofi- Aventis, Telefonica, T-Systems and VidaCaixa.

logo CESifoThe CESifo Group, consisting of the Center for Economic Studies (CES), the Ifo Institute for Economic Research and the CESifo GmbH (Munich Society for the Promotion of Economic Research) is a research group unique in Europe in the area of economic research. It was created in 1999 with the aim of making Munich a centre of economic research and policy discussion in Europe.

It combines the theoretically oriented economic research of the university with the empirical work of a leading Economic research institute and places this combination in an international environment. CESifo is also the core of a research network consisting of former visiting researchers at CES, which now numbers over 500 economists from many countries.
