The Centre for Economic Policy Research (CEPR) and the SP-SP Center of IESE are proud to organize the first conference on the Partnerships between Government and the Private Sector.

This continues a series of meetings on the interaction between private and public players in industries and services of public interest. Areas to be addressed include:

-Mechanisms of and limitations on governance of public agencies
-Competition law and public services/privatised companies
-Political economy of public/private finance
-Regulation of public services and sector specific regulation

This list is far from exhaustive and we also welcome submissions on topics that impinge on the above and on broader relationships between public and private players.

The conference will take place on 4-5 April 2007 at the IESE Business School in Barcelona.
