IESE and NYU STERN: A POWERFUL GLOBAL ALLIANCE
The program fuses the expertise of two world-renowned business schools: IESE Business School is consistently ranked among the leading international business schools, while NYU Stern Finance is widely recognized as one of the premier finance departments in the world.
IESE is one of the world’s most international business schools, with campuses in Europe and New York City. Founded in 1958, IESE seeks to develop business leaders with solid business skills, a global mindset and a desire to make a positive impact on society. The school launched its MBA program in 1964 under the guidance of an advisory committee set up by Harvard Business School.
Consistently ranked among the world’s top business schools, IESE takes a personalized approach to management education. The ethical dimensions of decision-making processes, which are indispensable for personal growth and corporate sustainability, receive special emphasis.
IESE is an initiative of Opus Dei, a personal prelature of the Roman Catholic Church. As such, the school draws its values from the Christian tradition, which emphasizes the intrinsic rights and dignity of every person.
Since its inception in 1900, New York University Stern School of Business has been in and of New York City. Founded as the School of Commerce, Finance and Accounting, the school initially offered training to students for careers in commerce in the burgeoning financial markets of New York City.
Today, located in the heart of Greenwich Village with a campus in Westchester, Stern is one of the nation’s premier management education schools and research centers with a broad portfolio of academic programs at the graduate and undergraduate levels. With its global partnerships and engagement in NYU’s global network university, today NYU Stern is not only in and of the city, but also in and of the world.
