Case Method

At IESE Business School, we believe that developing management skills and examining attitudes and values should be done through personal discovery. The case method is ideal for achieving this. The cases describe real business situations and provide detailed, relevant information for analysis and decision making.

Participants are faced with a real business situation with information tailored to this objective. They must undertake a thorough study of the situation and define the problems and opportunities they see in it.Participants are divided into heterogeneous groups to discuss cases on a weekly basis. This allows them to contrast different opinions and views on the problems and ways to solve them.After personal study and teamwork, general sessions are led by IESE Business School professors, who methodologically moderate rigorous discussions of the issues raised in the case, possible solutions and their consequences.
