He is professor in the Accounting and Control Department and in the Entrepreneurship Department as well. He has been Director of Finaves, the venture capital funds that invest in projects of IESE Alumni, since 2009. He is also professor of courses like Analysis of Business Problems and Small and Medium Enterprises (SME). He is the Academic Director of a focused program on Strategy Implementation and a program for Social Entrepreneurs.

His areas of interest are entrepreneurship, focusing in early stages, the keys of growth for SME, corporate governance with focus in SMEs and family businesses, and the use of management processes such as planning, budgeting, evaluation and compensation.

He has a long experience in consulting and he has served and is serving as member of the Board of Directors in several companies.
