The automotive industry is going through extremely difficult circumstances. However, the sector is demonstrating once again a certain capacity for regeneration, despite the current outlook. As the industry overcomes the current crisis, innovation will bring new benefits and formats to products, as well as to the industry itself. Additional developments include the growth of emerging markets, the appearance of new potential areas as the Mediterranean basin and the appearance of new sectors such as electric and hybrid cars. How should the automotive industry of 2020 look like?


THE HEALTH-CARE INDUSTRY IN 2020

With innovation levels that are higher than the average in most sectors, the health-care industry contributes to the continuous improvement of the quality of life. This naturally calls for significant investment in R&D and also means growing costs. The debate on how to address this issue is a priority for all economies of the world today. Other pertinent issues include the impact of globalization on company strategies and the development of health-care systems in emerging countries. What should health-care companies be like in 2020?

SOCIAL ENTREPRENEURSHIP

Among the different activities in the conference, there is the Social Entrepreneurship Workshop (SEW). During the SEW, students, investors and entrepreneurs will network, challenge themselves and work together on "The New Bottom Line" idea. The DGDW SEW Committee, would like to invite you to attend and apply to the activities of the SEW. We are confident that your participation at the conference will add value both to your venture and our conference. There are three different activities to which you can participate, depending on the stage of your venture and the problems you are facing.


THE CLEANTECH VENTURE SEMINAR

The IESE Cleantech Venture Seminar is an annual deal-flow event with select early-stage Cleantech Entrepreneurs and Europe’s finest Cleantech venture capital firms. The objective of the seminar is to provide a venue for promising Cleantech entrepreneurs to network with and pitch for funding in front of venture capital firms. Additionally, we aim to introduce attendees to some of the latest trends in Cleantech and to the methodologies of venture capitalists.
