A Global Business School

International Presence

IESE is one of the world’s most international business schools, offering programs in Europe, North America, Asia and Africa. Since it was founded in 1957, IESE has maintained a global focus, and today boasts a highly international faculty and student body. Through the years, it has also partnered with other leading institutions in the United States to offer international programs designed to effectively meet the needs of CEOs and members of their senior management teams. IESE is also the center of a network of Associated Business Schools, located in 14 countries around the world.

IESE in the US

Throughout its history, IESE has maintained strong ties with the United States. It developed Europe’s first 2-year MBA program through the guidance of Harvard Business School in 1962. IESE has also partnered with other leading U.S. business schools to offer high-caliber programs for U.S. executives living and working around the world. As a leading provider of executive education worldwide, IESE has delivered custom programs for numerous U.S. companies such as Boeing, Oracle and Visteon at diverse international locations.

With its recently-established center in United States, IESE further strengthens its relationships with North American companies and executives. The center will serve as a hub for the expansion of IESE program offerings and research activities in the region, as well as a source of support for alumni.

In February of 2009, the school broke ground on a project to refurbish the center, which is located in an emblematic building in New York City. To help finance this project, IESE has launched a capital campaign, which seeks to cover the costs of the building investment and support the new center’s activities.
