Management Classics

The objective of the seminar is to acquaint students with the theoretical developments that have taken place in conceptualizing organizations, organizational behavior and the managerial function from the beginning of the 20th century. The seminar consists of critical readings of classics on the subject (Taylor, Follet, Fayol, Mayo, Roethlisberger, Barnard, Drucker, Simon, March, Perrow, Selznick . . .), and attempts to integrate their contributions with a general anthropological view while at the same time emphasizing the conceptual achievements of each one.
