IESE’s International Faculty Development Program (IFDP), designed for faculty members of business schools worldwide, sees a growing number of professors from African business schools each year. The IFDP concentrates on teaching methodologies in management education, research and development of curricula. The overall aim of the program is to improve the general quality of management education.

IESE also offers full and partial scholarships for African students who wish to attend the PhD program, particularly those who are committed to return to their university to provide education and development of business leaders in their region.

Several IESE professors provide classes to faculty from African business schools through programs offered by World Bank, the Association of African Business Schools and other international business schools. Other programs are offered in countries throughout the continent, such as Egypt in collaboration with professors from Nile University, Cairo.
