IESE MBAs Lead Christmas Toy Drive

Project Benefits Barcelona Families

Once again this year, IESE MBAs are spreading the spirit of Christmas through a special initiative led by the Social Action Club. The group is organizing a Toys Drive for children who live in the Barcelona neighborhood of El Raval, an area where a high percentage of needy families reside.

"This year our objective is to make sure that no child is left without a Christmas toy," club organizers said.

Participating students will purchase and wrap toys, which are then placed under a Christmas tree on campus. Since the package given may be the only one a child receives, students are asked to make their toy gifts "bulky."

The Social Action Club's Christmas project supports work that the organization Acció Social Montalegre carries out.
