The fourth edition of the annual Global HR Think Tank gathers senior HR leaders from around the world. By combining rigorous research with cutting-edge practitioner examples and hands-on workshops, the event is designed to generate insights, inspire reflection and drive action on the challenges you face with respect to your organization’s most important asset – its people.
Over the two days, you will hear unique perspectives on urgent HR issues. Best-practice examples come from the Haniel Group and Boehringer Ingelheim, highlighting how these two global players handle strategy alignment and entrepreneurship. Prof. Pedro Videla, who advised the IMF, World Bank and EU, will break down the global economic trends shaping business until 2030. While providing context for your HR strategy you will also discuss implications for organizations to adapt to volatility, uncertainty, complexity and ambiguity. Prof. Sandra Sieber, Head of IESE´s digital education programs, will develop a framework for your firm´s digital mindset in a hands-on workshop. Prof. Hakan Ener will offer a second workshop about how to develop - and retain - intrapreneurs for corporate growth, based on his award-winning research.
To open the second day, we invited neuroscience expert Prof. Paul Brown, to explain what fear does to the brain, why it hinders innovation and how to create a productive and fear-free organization.
A panel discussion with thought leaders from the digital forefront and cognitive computing will push the limits of how you imagine the workforce of the future. Which education systems, job profiles and work environments will we need for a connected world in 2030? The question what you can do to prepare your company to swiftly adapt and become a real learning organization will be clarified in our last session with IESE´s Head of learning and innovation unit, Giuseppe Auricchio.
