    His research interests are in the area of customer equity. Specifically, he studies models capable of measuring and managing the discounted sum of cash-flows of a company’s pool of customers. He is also interested in customer relationship management (CRM), brand management and product positioning, price discrimination, customer segmentation and targeting, Internet marketing, and linking marketing spending to long-run performance.

    Ingeniero Industrial, Universidad Católica Argentina. Es profesor del programa Strategic Management in Retailing de Babson College en el Centro de Comercio Minorista del Instituto Tecnológico de Monterrey, México, y del Global CEO del IESE. Ha sido profesor visitante en las escuelas de negocios de Harvard y Darden en Estados Unidos, en el Instituto Politecnico de Milán y en distintas escuelas de Europa y América Latina. Entre 2002 y 2012 fue Director de Investigaciones del Coca-Cola Retailing Research Council en América Latina.
