The faculty of Managing Corporate Growth program is made up of professionals who are involved not only in teaching but in research and the business world. This program's team comprises:

    Africa Ariño
    Professor of Strategic Management
    Ph.D. in Management, University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA)
    M.B.A. IESE, University of Navarra
    Degree in Economics and Business Administration, Universitat de Barcelona

    Prof. Ariño is specialized in Strategic Alliance Management, particularly in their structural design, process issues and evolutionary aspects of the inter-partner relationship. She is the co-editor of Strategic alliances: Governance and contracts (with Jeffrey J. Reuer) and Creating value through international strategy (with P. Ghemawat and J.E. Ricart).

    Currently, she is a member of the Board of Directors of the Strategic Management Society. She has also served in the Executive Committee of the Business Policy and Strategy Division of the Academy of Management. Dr. Ariño was the Chairperson of the 2014 Annual International Conference of the Strategic Management Society. She teaches courses on Competitive Strategy, Corporate Strategy, and Managing External Growth in MBA and Executive Education Programs, as well as in the Ph. D. Program. She has taken part in diverse consulting projects on issues related to Strategic Management such as formulation and implementation of strategic plans and management and governance bodies; design of strategic alliances; and issues particular to family-owned businesses.

    He has over 17 years of consulting experience developed in Europe, North America, Asia and LATAM. Deeply understands the legal aspects to carry out business globally and in multicultural environments. As part of professional activities Prof. Costa Sant´Anna has conducted consulting projects for companies to internationalize their operations worldwide. Furthermore, he has enjoyed PriceWaterhouse and Coopers & Lybrand in the Auditing and Tax Departments.
    Professor in top Universities, Specialist and Speaker in the following subjects: Strategic Alliances, International Tax Planning, International Trade, Doing Business in Emerging Markets, Legal Aspects of International Business, International Negotiation and Company Internationalization.

    Yih-Teen Lee
    Professor of Managing People in Organizations
    Ph.D. in Management, HEC, University of Lausanne
    Master in International Business, National Taiwan University
    Bachelor in International Trade, National Taiwan University

    He teaches subjects such as leadership, crosscultural management, and strategic human resource management in MBA as well as executive programs. Prior to IESE, he taught at HEC University of Lausanne (Switzerland), Angers Graduate School of Business ESSCA (France), the American Graduate School of International Management Thunderbird Europe (France), and Lung-Hua University of Science and Technology (Taiwan, R.O.C.).
    One of Prof. Lee’s papers on culture and the personenvironment fit, titled “Satisfaction and Individual Preference for Structuring: What is Fit Depends on Where You Are From,” won the Best International Paper Award of the Organizational Behavior Division at the 2006 Academy of Management Annual Meeting, and was one of the three finalists of the academy-wide Carolyn Dexter Award.
