IESE Business School (Barcelona, Spain) invites applications for a tenure-track position in the Marketing Department. All areas of research within marketing will be considered.

 

Candidates should have completed or be close to completing their Ph.D. dissertation. All candidates should demonstrate research potential leading to publication in top academic journals. Ability to teach at the graduate level is also encouraged.

 

The school is also interested in candidates already at the Assistant or Associate Professor level, with a proven research and teaching record.

Job Title: Program Coordinator
Division/Area: International Open Programs/ Executive Education Programs
Time Status: Full-time

Location: Campus Barcelona

 

Mission and Purpose
Responsible for coordinating Open Programs, taking the leadership and responsibility that an assigned program run smoothly, and planned in a timely and consistent manner, being the main contact person to the participant of the program.

 

Job Description – Main Responsibilities

  • This position will assist with planning, delivery and post-delivery program follow up.
  • Duties include but are not limited to working with academic director and program director to create the agenda; coordinating and organizing all program logistics; monitor program budget, expenditure, billing, receipts and forecasts.
  • Anticipates and resolves participants’ issues, responding inquiries from leads, participants, faculty and visitors over the phone and in person.

 

Requirements

  • Excellent interpersonal oral and written communication, and customer service skills; work in a team approach; organizational skills; accuracy and attention to detail; demonstrated initiative, autonomy, reliability and ability to work independently; problem solving; willingness to learn; an ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, meeting deadlines and anticipating needs; positive and service attitude.
  • University degree or equivalent preferred plus experience in an office environment. Strong computer skills including experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish).
  • Flexible schedule.
