Iniciativa de banca

Comprendiendo el futuro del sector bancario

La Iniciativa de Banca del IESE, con el apoyo de Citi, analiza el desarrollo posterior a la crisis de las instituciones y de los mercados financieros, prestando especial atención a las políticas de regulación y competencia y a su impacto en los modelos de negocio bancarios. La iniciativa pretende promover un diálogo riguroso e informado sobre temas de actualidad de esta industria entre académicos, reguladores, empresas y sociedad civil.

El origen de la iniciativa radica en la conferencia anual Future of Banking Conference, que el IESE lanzó en Londres en 2014 para contribuir a mejorar la investigación sobre la gestión y el gobierno de los bancos.

Con un horizonte inicial de cuatro años, este proyecto aspira a convertirse en un referente en el estudio de bancos, instituciones y mercados financieros, y se centra en cuestiones que son cruciales para comprender la evolución de estos sectores. A través de esta plataforma, un grupo de investigadores de primer nivel prepara un informe anual sobre el futuro del sector bancario.
