Partners of students and program participants are an important part of the IESE community. They often get involved in many of the social activities organized during the course of MBA and executive education programs as well as in alumni activities after graduation.
In addition, many partners and families accompany IESE students for the duration of the full-time MBA program. Like the student, they partake in a rewarding and unforgettable experience.
Of course getting settled has its share of challenges for partners and families: finding a place to live, resolving paper-work issues, finding schools for children, learning Spanish, building a social network, etc. The IESE Couples and Families Club (ICFC) provides a support network for newcomers, helping them take on these challenges and get settled in Barcelona by providing information and advice. Run by partners of MBA students, the club also provides a social network with plenty of opportunities to meet and socialize with other partners and families: dinners, lunches, and mother and baby groups are among some of the activities that the ICFC organizes.
To find out more about the ICFC and what partners and families can look forward to during the IESE experience, the ICFC has a blog with information about settling in Barcelona and upcoming partners and family events. You can also contact the group by sending an email to ICFC@iese.net
