Past & Future

IESE was founded in 1958 as the graduate business school of the University of Navarra with the intention of offering business leaders a holistic view of the firm and an emphasis on the ethical and human aspects of business activities. Its founding constituted a landmark in management education in Europe at a time when executive education was scarcely known outside the United States. Since then IESE has grown steadily by offering an array of executive education programs for managers.
