Esther Jiménez is Lecturer in the Managing People in Organizations Department. She holds a degree in Law and Labor Sciences and MBA from Universitat Oberta de Catalunya. In 1995 she completed a PDD at IESE Business School, University of Navarra. She has spent most of her career working in educational institutions and she has held the General Manager position as well as a Board member for over 15 years. She is currently the Dean of Education of the Universitat Internacional de Catalunya (UIC)

From a practitioner point of view her areas of expertise are strategic management, human resources, finance and communication. Academically, she specialized in motivation, competency development, work and family balance and female leadership. She has co-authored, together with Nuria Chinchilla, book chapters, cases, technical notes and articles.
