Reflecting IESE Business School's commitment to excellence in research, the school has recently moved into the top slot among international business schools in the Social Science Research Network (SSRN) listing for number of downloads of papers written by the school's professors. On March 6, IESE had registered a total of 86,076 downloads over the previous 12 months.
Heading the list of number of downloads per individual faculty member was IESE Prof. Pablo Fernández of the Department of Finance, with a total of 72,070 new downloaded papers over the previous 12 months as of March 1.
Prof. Fernandez's paper "28 Basic Finance Problems and 950 Wrong Answers," published in Spanish, was listed among the Weekly Top 5 Papers on March 23. The paper is highlighted on the repository's blog.
Originating in 1992 and based in the United States, the SSRN is devoted to the rapid worldwide dissemination of social science research and is composed of a number of specialized research networks in each of the social sciences. It is a collaborative of over 1,000 scholars worldwide who contribute their services as advisory editors, editors and network directors.
