Adrián Caldart is Professor in the Strategic Management Department. He has started teaching at IESE Business School in 2006 across most of the school’s degree and executive programs. He is currently the Academic Director of the IESE ONE EMBA and of the IESE Barcelona EMBA Program. He holds a B.Sc. in Accounting and a B.Sc. in Business Administration from the Pontificia Universidad Católica Argentina, a M.Sc. in Management and Economics from ESEADE (Buenos Aires, Argentina) and a Ph.D. in Management from IESE, University of Navarra.
Since 2003, Professor Caldart has also collaborated very actively with IESE’s Affiliated Business School in Portugal (AESE Business School) where he is the Academic Director of the Business Policy Department and President of the Academic Council of the School. He has also been a consultant in Strategy and Organization in Spanish, Portuguese and Argentine business firms and public organizations.
After graduating from IESE in 2003, Professor Caldart worked for five years as a full-time professor of Strategic Management at Warwick Business School (Coventry, United Kingdom) reaching the position of Associate Professor. Before joining academia, he worked over seven years in the Corporate Center of the industrial conglomerate Pérez Companc (Argentina) as a trader in energy derivatives and money markets, and as an executive in Strategic Planning and Control.
