IESE extends its solidarity and condolences to people in The Philippines after the devastating typhoon.

IESE Dean Jordi Canals made the following statement:

"On behalf of the entire IESE community around the world, I want to express my sorrow at the news of the tragic events in The Philippines.

We will make every effort to find out about the situation of our alumni and friends working in the Philippines. We would appreciate hearing from you with any information that might help us to confirm the safety of other IESE alumni.

Our hearts go out to The Philippines, in particular to those studying and working at IESE, alumni and students living in The Philippines, and all Philippine alumni wherever they may be. We pray for those closely affected by the tragedy. IESE stands with you during this time of trial."

IESE Alumni support to International Emergency Appeal

In response to the tragic events in The Philippines, the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) has launched an international emergency appeal, about USD 78.6 million, to cover the immediate needs of the people affected, and support the Philippine Red Cross (PRC) in delivering humanitarian assistance to 100,000 families (500,000 people) over the next 18 months.

In solidarity with the people of the Philippines, IESE would like to support the IFRC emergency appeal by broadcasting this initiative and call to action throughout the IESE family of over 40,000 alumni across the world, to make the greatest possible contribution to this cause.

IESE has an exclusive donation platform with the IFRC, through which you can donate directly, at the following link.
