Angel Proaño is Lecturer at the Strategic Management Department. He teaches general management and strategy at IESE’s Business School Executive Education programs. He holds an MBA from IE Business School and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Business Administration from the University of Navarra. He completed his executive education at IESE, University of Navarra.
He has an extensive C level executive experience in the financial services, construction, and airport retail businesses in the areas of strategy and corporate development. Starting his professional career at PwC, he has been working in different multinational and national groups, such as Aldeasa (Dufry) or San José Group, among others. He has addressed challenges in corporate transformation processes, strategy design and execution, M&A, or enterprise risk management.
He has been board member in several companies operating in different industries (financial services, real estate, technological services or insurance brokerage).
He is Visiting Professor at AESE Business School (PADE) in Portugal and ISEM Fashion Business School (PADEM), among others.
Currently, he combines teaching in Executive Education programs with the activity of senior advisor to CEOs, executive committees and boards, on strategy execution and corporate governance, at national and international level.
