Rafael has a degree in Economics from the UAB, an MBA from IESE and is an European Financial Planner.

He is currently manager at the Bosch Aymerich Foundation, Controller at the Bosch Aymerich group, and a Financial Planner at Bissan Value Investing, as well as an academic collaborator at the Institut d'Estudis Financers for more than 15 years in the areas of Personal Financial Planning. , Mutual Funds and Financial Calculus.

He has served as a strategic consultant and as a manager in financial institutions, both national (Catalunya Caixa) and international (The Chase Manhattan Bank, Fidelity Investments), in the areas of Sales, Planning, Asset Management and Family Wealth Management.

At IESE he teaches the Operational Finance module and sessions on Personal Finance. He has specialized both at the corporate and academic level in Asset Management, Personal Financial Planning and Operational Finance Management, developing and implementing academic material and tools for families and financial sector professionals to help families manage their wealth and personal financial goals.
