The world's first global Advanced Management Program (AMP) in Media and Entertainment wraps up this week on IESE Business School's New York City campus. IESE and the Paley Center for Media, a leading media and entertainment industry think tank, co-lead the initiative.
The Media AMP is a general management program especially designed for senior-level executives of media and entertainment companies. The program centers on four intensive, weeklong modules conducted in New York and Los Angeles and covers diverse topics such as leadership, managing creative professionals, cross-cultural management and the impact of digitization.
A key highlight of this unique program is the Leadership Forum, which gives participants the chance to network and share insights with top industry leaders. Recent speakers at the Leadership Forum have included Larry Kurzweil of Universal Studios, Lauren Zalaznick of NBC and Alan Patricof of Greycroft LLC.
Participants also benefit from stimulating interaction with other executives, which sharpens their management skills and broadens their leadership capabilities. The academic director of the program is IESE Prof. Mike Rosenberg . The next edition of the AMP will start in January 2013.
