HBS Dean Nohria to Speak at IESE Alumni Session
What Europe can learn from Asia
As the Harvard-IESE Committee celebrates its 50th Anniversary, IESE welcomes Harvard Business School Dean, Nitin Nohria, to speak to alumni at an exclusive session on January 13, 2014. Entitled, "Innovative Leadership: Learning from Asian Companies," the session will be held at IESE’s Barcelona campus and organized by the Alumni Association.
Known as a "master juggler" and a truly global reference in the world of leadership, Dean Nohria is an expert not only in leadership, but also in human motivation, corporate transformation and accountability, and sustainable economic and human performance. With IESE Dean Jordi Canals moderating, during the January 13 evening session Nohria will discuss the need to usher in a new era of innovation, his views on the major changes emerging in Asia and how these can help European companies to become more competitive in the long term.
His visit to IESE represents the close historic links between both business schools, formally embodied in the Harvard-IESE Committee. Celebrating its half-century last October, the committee is a forum of reflection in which the two institutions share experiences, exchange ideas and projects, discuss common problems and offer each other new perspectives.
