The IESE MBA Open Day was bigger and more international than ever this month. The monthly event, held today in Barcelona, attracted 25 percent more participants than last year. Those who couldn’t participate on campus were able join in online. Open Days are also held on the Madrid and New York campuses.

Some 50 participants representing 16 nationalities took part on campus, with a further 22 joining online. Online participants joined via WEBEX where they could connect to the platform and see presentations and videos as well as ask questions via chat. They could also tune in to the panel sessions in the afternoon.

Some 38 percent of those taking part were women and overall participants hailed from countries as diverse as Argentina, Russia, Japan, Germany, Peru and the United States.

The day began with an overview of the program and career services, followed by a case study led by Prof. Antonio Dávila. After lunch and a campus tour there were two panels. The first involved post-MBA alumni talking about the IESE experience while in the second current students discussed their experience of IESE.
