The Advanced Management Program (AMP) Brazil, IESE’s flagship program especially designed for experienced professionals in the region and led in collaboration with ISE the school’s local partner, is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year.
This year’s edition, which began on June 18 in Sao Paulo, brings together more than 20 top-level executives from a wide range of backgrounds and industries, such as hospitality, energy, insurance, transport, pharmacy and chemical, among others.
For the first time, participants in the AMP Brazil will travel to IESE’s center in New York for an intensive week of sessions and networking. Centered around nine modules - seven in Sao Paulo, one in Barcelona and one in New York City - the program offers a highly global view of today's changing business context.
Since it was launched in 2002, 175 senior executives from top companies based in Brazil have completed the program and experienced the opportunity to refresh and update their knowledge, challenge their management practices and examine their leadership roles.
Cesar Beltrán, IESE’s Director in Brazil, said: “We celebrate 10 years of the AMP in Brazil with great satisfaction, seeing how through our efforts in the country, we are contributing to the development of high-level executives in the rising economy, and as a consequence, to society. The great recognition from national and international companies that already know the program encourages us to arrive to more executives and companies.”
In Brazil, IESE offers its two longstanding executive programs - the AMP and the Program for Management Development (PLD). The PLD is aimed at managers who have mastered a specific technical area and are seeking to move up in their organizations.
Also this year, the school's premiere yearly event for alumni, the Global Alumni Reunion, will be held in Sao Paulo, Nov. 1-3. The event will bring together IESE graduates from all over the world to participate in high-level academic sessions and network with other global professionals.
