The Abertis Chair of Regulation, Competition and Public Policy, created in 2006, is dedicated to researching, generating ideas and increasing knowledge in the fields of regulation, competition and public policy. The research findings contribute to the inspiration and education of employers and managers.
The Chair fosters the exchange of ideas between businesses and academic institutions. To this end, it organizes a wide range of activities, such as international symposia and congresses, regular meetings of experts from all over the world, keynote lectures, sessions for IESE’s Alumni Learning Program and courses in collaboration with the Public-Private Sector Research Center.

Chair.
Víctor Martínez de Albéniz is Professor in the Operations, Information and Technology Department and holder of the Abertis Chair of Regulation, Competition and Public Policy. He joined IESE Business School in 2004 after earning a Ph.D. from the Operations Research Center at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and an engineering degree from École Polytechnique in France.
