Anne-Sophie
Sabbatucci

Anne-Sophie Sabbatucci is Assistant Professor in the Entrepreneurship Department at IESE Business School. Her research focuses on entrepreneurship as a force for positive societal change, particularly in contexts characterized by adversity and institutional fragility. She studies how entrepreneurs and other actors build entrepreneurial ecosystems, mobilize collective action, and address complex social challenges.

Her research draws primarily on inductive qualitative methods and has taken her to settings including Iraq and Colombia. Her work has been published in the Journal of Business Venturing and Small Business Economics, and her research has been featured in the Stanford Social Innovation Review (ssir.org).

Prior to joining IESE, Anne-Sophie earned her Ph.D. in Entrepreneurship from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business. Before pursuing an academic career, she worked in strategy consulting and in business development for a technology startup.
