September 2, 2025
This week, IESE Business School officially welcomed the new cohorts of its full-time MBA and Master in Management (MiM) programs, reinforcing its commitment to internationalization, diversity and purpose-driven leadership.
The IESE MBA Class of 2027 comprises 421 students from 56 nationalities, with 38% women and a strong international profile: 88% of students come from outside Spain. This year, Latin America and the Caribbean represent the largest share of the class at 32%, followed by Europe (28%), which has seen a modest increase compared to last year. Students from Asia account for 22%, while North America (U.S. and Canada) makes up 13%, and the Middle East & Africa account for 5%.
The new cohort, which kicks off classes this week at IESE’s Barcelona campus, reflects IESE’s commitment to fostering a truly global learning environment. With a pedagogy that combines the case-method with hands-on international business experiences, simulations and an emphasis on personalized leadership development, the MBA prepares participants to lead with purpose in a complex, fast-changing world.
MiM Class Sets New Records for International and Female Representation
For its part, IESE’s MiM Class of 2026 welcomes 149 students from 31 nationalities, with a record 74% international students and 48% women—marking a major milestone for the program’s gender balance.
Designed for recent graduates with 0–2 years of work experience, students join the MiM from diverse academic backgrounds, united by their ambition to develop a strategic mindset early in their careers. Delivered in Madrid, the program emphasizes real-world business challenges, international exposure and ethical leadership.
IESE Deputy Dean Marc Badia highlighted the significance of this milestone:
“Each new MBA and MiM class brings fresh perspectives and renewed energy to our campuses. We’re proud to see such strong representation from across the globe, and especially the progress we’re making in gender diversity. These young professionals are entering a world that demands responsible, adaptable leadership, and we are committed to helping them develop the values, skills and mindset to meet that challenge.”
As the academic year begins across IESE’s campuses in Barcelona, Madrid, Munich, New York and São Paulo, the school reaffirms its mission: to develop leaders who will make a deep, positive and lasting impact on business and society.
