IESE has received the 2019 EFMD Excellence in Practice Silver Award for its custom program with Oracle, which it conducts jointly with the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business.

Accelerate Executive Insight (AEI), now in its 21st edition, is the award-winning custom program. It is the outcome of a forward-thinking approach that helps Oracle’s Organization & Talent Development leadership team foster a common vision and nomenclature among its top performers and provide a platform to enhance their leadership potential in benefit of themselves, their teams and the entire organization.

“We are very proud of the Accelerate Executive Insight program and are committed to this executive education experience as a key driver of strategic thinking and authentic leadership as we continue our transformation to a cloud services company. We are thrilled to be awarded this Excellence in Practice award in recognition of the impact AEI is having on the business,” said Jo Tilson, global head of Top Talent Development Centre, Oracle.

Designed by Oracle, IESE and Ross, AEI gathers participants from diverse business lines, regions, functions and cultures to learn together across two global venues and a virtual learning platform.   Through a highly engaging blended learning format, AEI broadens participants’ strategic mindset and customer-centric approach, while boosting their capacity to align and inspire others as models of authentic leadership.

“We love our work with Oracle and are happy for this recognition from EFMD. Oracle’s top-level management keeps us up to date on the most relevant market shifts and core challenges affecting the company. This accessibility enables us to continually adapt and improve the learning experience,” said professor Josep Valor, IESE’s academic director of the custom program.

Kip Meyer, managing director of Custom Partnerships at IESE, added: “We are grateful for EFMD’s affirmation of our ongoing custom collaboration with this industry trailblazer. Oracle is known for its engaged and future-forward approach. We amplified these positives by providing a platform for learning and collaboration for their top performers.”

The EFMD Excellence in Practice (EiP) Awards recognize outstanding and impactful client-supplier partnerships in the domains of Leadership, Professional, Talent and Organizational Development. IESE’s winning case will be showcased during EFMD Executive Development Conference to take place at IESE in Barcelona, November 11-13, 2019.
