IESE's New York Center
will host a special session for alumni and guests today entitled, Flexibility and Sustainable Workplaces. The event will feature guest speakers Kathleen Christensen
, Program Director of the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation, Stephanie Voquer,
Chief Human Resources officer at MasterCard Worldwide, and IESE Prof. Marta Elvira
, who will moderate.
The session will focus on how the ability for individuals and organizations to make a lasting impact on society depends partly on the stability and health of the workforce. Implementing flexibility practices - in the United States or abroad- is essential if workers are effectively to meet the demands of life and work and if employers are successfully able to attract and retain top talent and improve performance.
During the session, panelists will explore flexibility practices around the globe, diverse leadership development models and what is being done to attract and retain the aging workforce to ensure a more sustainable workplace.
