Jeff Zucker, President of CNN Worldwide, at IESE

Session held at IESE's Center in New York

10/07/2013 New York

Jeff Zucker

IESE's New York Center will host a special breakfast with the president of CNN Worldwide, Jeff Zucker, on July 12. Leading a conversation with Zucker will be Bill Baker, who is a member of IESE's U.S. Advisory Board, professor of Media and Entertainment and president emeritus of the Educational Broadcasting Corporation.

Born in 1965, Zucker has vast experience in the U.S. media industry. After graduating from Harvard in 1986, he worked for various newspapers, and started his career in television at NBC. He worked as executive producer for The Today Show and was later named president of NBS Entertainment, becoming president and executive director of NBC Universal in 2007. In 2013, he took on his most recent challenge as president of CNN Worldwide.

A Clear Focus on Media

The event on July 12 underscores IESE's focus on the media industry in the U.S.  Earlier this year, Shelly Lazarus, former president of Ogilvy & Mather, was at the school for a special event during which she spoke about the challenges created by disruptive digital technologies.
